New Painting: Florida Bay Night Sky

The image shows a creatively divided painting with an upper scene of a purple night sky, populated by stars of yellow, orange, pink, and blue hues, as well as a predominant yellow moon located towards the upper left. Below, a contrasting scene presents a green field resembling an undersea environment, where a linear formation of silver tarpons swims from the left to the right side of the painting. The fish feature purple bodies with silver scales, and their fins and tails are tipped with bright orange and blue, respectively, adding to the whimsical nature of the artwork.

This is one of the paintings that is part of a series that I’m working on dealing with vanishing ecosystems and the animals that live in it. I’m using less common animals, which tend be less “loved” to highlight that all of God’s creation serves a purpose. The series up to the moment includes this piece, “Red Sea Stars”, “Tidal Pool”, “Majors in the Rain”, “Don’t Get Triggered By The Goggle Eyes”, “Red on Yellow Kill a Fellow”, “Bleached”, “Una Morena y Sus Amigas”, “Flounder and Friends”, “Bycatch”, “Gulf Stream Life”, “Sunset at the Pond”, “Hierba de Alacran” and “Una Cascabel y Sus Peyotes”.
