Here are a few images from a recent Quinces Photo Shoot done in Villa Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Wynwood Walls and the Gold Coast Railroad Museum.
I had a great time capturing Villa Vizcaya Quinces Photography of this young lady this past Sunday morning. Our day started with a trip to Gloria Pelo for Hair and Make up, what a treat that was, Gloria is a true pro. Then we embarked towards Vizcaya Museum and Gardens with a perfect south florida weather waiting for us. Bright, blue skies and a wonderful 7o degrees in temperature, perfect! The young lady is a natural at posing, all I had to say was get a bit this way and she would always answer back “got it” and she did. Thanks to all involved a was a total pleasure working with you all. Hope you enjoy this sneak peek.

Un pequeño ejemplo de Fotos de la Sesión de Quinceañera tomada hoy Sábado en el Deering Estate que se encuentra al sur de Miami. La bella muchacha se comportó como una excelente modelo soportando un intenso calor. A pesar de la amenaza de lluvia tuvimos el tiempo necesario para terminar la sesión de fotos sin que una sola gota de agua nos cayera encima. Fue cuando en camino a mi casa que una fuerte tormenta vino a caer. Usamos el típico vestido de quinceañera y otros cambios de estilo incluyendo un set estilo estudiante de universidad y otro estilo basado en la moda de los años 20 de los Estados Unidos como se dice “Roaring Twenties” . Fuimos acompañados por los abuelos y amigas de la bella quinceañera en la sesión de fotos.
Starting in May, 2014 I changed the pricing and available options for my Quinces Photography Collections. I will be offering all inclusive collections that will allow a one stop get all that you need to obtain a beautiful Quinceanera Photo Shoot!
You will receive the following with any of the Photo Packages that I offer:
1. In person photography consultation to discuss the details of the shoot. The consultation can be done at your home for your convenience.
A. We will discuss possible locations for your beautiful portraits. Locations suchs world famous Vizcaya Gardens in Miami, The Cruz building in Coconut Grove, Gold Coast Railroad Museum, Little River Studios, Pinecrest Gardens, Homestead Bayfront Park, Wynwood and Matheson Hammock are just a few of the choices available in the all inclusive photography pricing.
B. Also on the list of our consultation will be your style of dress, your interests and what you feel sets you apart that you will want to show in your Quinces Portraits. Any props that you will like to include we can accommodate from a simple guitar to an elephant if that is what you like. [maybe an elephant might be a bit difficult to get but I will try to get it for you 😉 ].
C. We will also talk about what kind of albums, enlargements and other things like phone cases that you will like to help you show off your beautiful images. Yes I’m including an Iphone case with the image of your choosing in most of my Quinces photography packages.
D. Our consultation will finish with setting a date and time to best capture your special moment. Certain places work best at an earlier time than others and we will talk about such things.
2. Also included in all the Quinces Photography Collections are the beautiful Quinces Formal Dress: I have dress shops throughout the South Florida area which will provide the dress or dresses depending on what collection you choose, for your formal portraits. You just go choose your dress, get it fitted and I take care of the rest.
3. Makeup will be also included in all of the Quinces Photography Packages. I have an excellent Make up artist that will actually go to your home and get you all dolled up before your portrait shoot!! Hair and makeup all included, just sit back and enjoy her work while you relax in the comfort of your own home.
4. As I mentioned earlier you will have numerous places to choose from for you portraits, all included just bring plenty of energy and a big smile. Get lots of rest before your shoot you will needed since I love to shoot especially if you love to shine for the camera.
5. After your portraits are done I will provide you with a private internet gallery for you to look at your beautiful images and also share them with family and friends. You will also use the gallery to make your selections that I will use to prepare your gorgeous custom artistic album.
6. A few days after your final approval of your album images we will once again meet so I can present to you the finish album, enlargement and any other of the many things that can be used to display your images. [don’t forget the phone case]

Alian Canales [Ali] the director of Jezali Hair and Make-up artist group and I got together recently to collaborate on a photo shoot. We had the goal of seen how we worked together without the pressure of a meeting a time schedule or having an actual client. It was a fun and rewarding shoot since not only did I see the great way that she works with the model but also I was able to experiment a bit with lights and poses. The result of the few hours of work resulted in a great set of images for both her, the model and me. Aquí les ofrezco un pequeño ejemplo de fotos tomadas la semana pasada de dos bellas quinceañeras. El lugar por supuesto fue en los jardines del Vizcaya. Por causa de que ambos días de secciones de fotos los cielos estuvieron nublados la luz estuvo bien delicada con muy pocas sombras fuertes y un contraste aséalo mínimo.
Las hermosísimas muchachas en los años más hermosos de sus vidas tuvieron sus fotos tomadas en las diferentes aéreas de la Villa Vizcaya que se prestan para unas magnificas imágenes clásicas. Los vestidos con sus intensos colores y brillosos materiales resaltan contra las texturas de las columnas y los muros de piedra. La bella vegetación también les da un contraste espectacular a los decorosos vestidos y causan que las fotos resalten con vida. Las quinceañeras estuvieron disfrutando del maravilloso clima que el Sur de la Florida ofrece durante el mes de Febrero.
Las bellas quinceañeras fueron unas fabulosas modelos soportando las muchas posiciones y ajustes de expresiones que el exigente fotógrafo les pedía. Buscando la perfección en imagen para que sus recuerdos sean espectaculares es mi principal meta. Mi interés no es tomar las fotos lo más rápido posible pero es encontrar esos ángulos perfectos, encontrar la luz perfecta y encontrar lo que hace manifestar la belleza pura de la quinceañera.
